ABSTRACT
This chapter analyses Nigeria’s legislative approach to local content as embodied in the Nigerian Oil and Gas Industry Content Development Act 2010. It highlights the innovations of the Act in areas such as regulation, reports, certifications, technology transfer, employment, and training. It assesses the NCDMB, which also embodies Nigeria’s institutional framework for local content development.
