ABSTRACT
IS and communications systems managers may not always initiate the decision to purchase hardware or software packages, but they are often responsible for selecting, implementing, and operating the associated peripherals and such supporting equipment as communications systems. Selection is often complicated, however, by third-party vendors whose products are not compatible with the CPU manufacturer’s hardware.
