ABSTRACT
The International System of Feed Nomenclature 1 defines a protein concentrate as a feed containing at least 20% protein on a dry basis. This chapter, accordingly, will examine those feeds which fall into this category but will additionally include some feeds for which, while average values fall below 20% protein, individual values may indeed exceed this figure.
