ABSTRACT
Climate is a term used to describe the average weather conditions over several years. Weather is the day-to-day fluctuation in temperature, rainfall, and associated conditions. To better understand weather and climate, a brief look at the factors which control the climate is necessary. These nine principal factors are the sun, land and water surfaces, altitude, mountain barriers, wind and pressure patterns, ocean currents, storms, and human beings. These nine factors interact to determine weather and climate.
