ABSTRACT
The wavelengths of maximum absorption as printed on each spectrum were determined by the PEAKFIND (da/dX) program in the 8450A and 8451A diode array spectrophotometers. The following three tables are tabulations of all of these absorption peaks arranged in ascending order in 0.2 N sulfuric acid, base, and ethanol solutions, respectively. When a substance has multiple peaks, each peak is reported in its proper place in the sequential table, the major peak is marked with an asterisk, and the other peaks are relisted at that position. If more than one compound is located at the same wavelength, the compound with the major peak is listed first. The page and volume number follows the compound’s name.
