Critical States and Coherence Analysis in Complex Systems

A complex system of order n, composed of n independent components, has 2ⁿ basic states. L_u of these states will define the unavailability space Ω_u and L_a will define the availability space Ω_a, (L_u + L_a = 2ⁿ). Transitions from one space to the other can only happen through some well defined basic states. These are the critical states.
