ABSTRACT

An important biological peculiarity of rodents is their high level of phylogenetic diversity resulting in great variations in their morpho-physiological adaptations and ecological success. The control efficiency is influenced by the technique of bactorodencide application. It is rather important that the preparation is found easily and consumed well by those rodents against which it is applied, and the bacteria in it do not lose their virulence before consumed by the rodent. Viruses occupy a special place in the world of microorganisms. They were first recognized as living bodies at the end of the 19th and beginning of the 20th centuries, but it took more than 30 years to recognize their practical utility. In spite of different mechanisms of protection that a mammal organism possesses, viruses can overcome them and cause dangerous epizootics. The existence of highly infectious virus, causing the quick death of host-organism, proved to be biologically less successful.
