ABSTRACT

This paper presents results from a study of gas sensors produced using laser ablated nanocrystalline tin dioxide. The use of precious metal catalysts and other additives has been investigated with a view to producing highly sensitive and selective devices capable of detecting three key atmospheric contaminants ozone, oxides of nitrogen, and carbon monoxide.
