ABSTRACT

Generation and consumption of chilling and heating energy should consider economical and ecological aspects. Optimal demand oriented chilling and heat power requires sustainable evaluation of measurement information of the whole system. Fuzzy Logic provides, by evaluation of the thermal behaviour of the chilling and heating system, powerful rule basses for decision making in order to guarantee optimal operation of the systems. Proving the applicability of fuzzy Logic for energy management tasks, two new operation and optimisation strategies for a complex chilling and heating system have been realised and implemented into the existing industrial Building Energy Management Systems.
