Estimation of Dynamic Load Factor for Orthotropic Plates Subjected to In-Plane Pulse Loading
The paper deals with the dynamic response of thin orthotropic plates subjected to in-plane pulse loading. The problem is investigated on the basis of asymptotic analytical-numerical method and/or finite element method. The multi-modal analysis is conducted using Hamilton’s Principle where the inertia terms resulting from the in-plane and out-of-plane displacements are included. The dynamic buckling load is estimated basing on different dynamic stability criteria.
