ABSTRACT
To facilitate explanation, most quantities in this chapter are rounded off to two or three significant figures. It is expected that in practice the user will, as a rule, consult appropriate tables for various values and carry out calculations to four significant figures in order to conclude with approximately a three-figure accuracy.
