General Discussions and Conclusions Need for Further Research

In the preceding chapters a detailed review of the different aspects of cadmium intoxication has been given. Whenever motivated, in each chapter, there are special sections for conclusions and these will not generally be repeated here. This chapter, instead, will deal with more general aspects on the problem, pointing out some of the most important conclusions and emphasizing the need for further studies.
