ABSTRACT
The benefits of object-oriented (00) systems development include greatly improved software quality, reusable objects, and a means of creating truly distributed software across heterogeneous environments. The most sophisticated IS organizations and their tools are, however, no substitute for enlightened developers, organizationwide, as 00 techniques change the way systems development is done.
