ABSTRACT
Relational database management systems (DBMSs) represent the core of modern information processing. Data processing services provided by relational DBMSs are essential to many daily routines now taken for granted in the modern world. Relational DBMSs’ unique combination of power and flexibility has promoted their use in numerous applications in business, education, and industry. A key factor in the success of relational DBMSs is the implementation of a standard query language (SQL).
