ABSTRACT
The nature and complexity of environmental laws and regulations present a challenge to those persons responsible for compliance. The hazardous waste regulatory program, in particular, is in a state of flux. Modifications to and changing interpretations of existing regulatory requirements, as well as the addition of new regulatory initiatives, make the management of compliance programs particularly difficult.
