Figure 5.2. Superposed C02 laser emission and CH3 0H absorption spectrum between 960 and 1100 cm-1 . The P, Q and R branches of the CO-stretching fundamental of CH30H are clearly recognizable. Only the laser emissions of the "regular" 9.6 {Jill and 10.6 {Jill bands of C02 are reported in the upper part of the figure.
