ABSTRACT
In this chapter, we shall discuss subclasses of elliptical distributions, such as multiuniform distributions, symmetric Kotz type distributions, symmetric multivariate Pearson Types VII and II distributions, and some others. These are the most useful subclasses from both practical and theoretical aspects. The well-known multinormal and multivariate t-distributions are classified as members of the above subclasses.
