ABSTRACT
The concluding chapter reprises Āśān’s vision for socioreligious reform and confirms that religion required redefinition in modern India. The theology of embodiment of bhakti finds meaning in modern Kerala through Āśān’s imagination and in his vision of love between the divine and human and among humans, inviting his readers to participate in embracing the other.
