ABSTRACT

This chapter does two things. First, it revisits the concepts discussed in Chapters 4 through 7 in a concluding discussion about religious literacy in hospice care. Second, it introduces the model of religious literacy in end of life care. Each stage and level of the model are discussed and explored. The model draws on the author's research and widens its scope to explore its application in end of life care more generally. The context in which the model can be applied and become effective is also discussed and explored.
