ABSTRACT
Every day, many people struggle in exploration, ore grade control, process control, metallurgical accounting, commercial settlements, environmental monitoring, food safety evaluations, standards committees, government agencies, and many more domains, because of a massive confusion between problems they can control and problems they cannot control. As a result, management often selects a wrong strategy to control problems and optimize operations. The choice of a correct strategy is a necessity.
