ABSTRACT

Invasive grass weeds continue to gain ground against native plant species, especially in the arid crop and rangelands of the western United States, where an elegantly adaptive invasive grass weed, downy brome (cheatgrass, Bromus tectorum L.), dominates the landscape (Balch, 2013; Haubensak et al., 2009).
