ABSTRACT
The aim of this book is to bring together in one place all the disparate strands required to design and measure loudspeakers. We believe that this book is long overdue, so if you don’t want to study hundreds of papers from dozens of journals and pick out the relevant nuggets, this book is for you. Our aim is to concentrate mainly on the practical aspects of speaker drive unit design, simulation, and measurement, rather than the theory.
This book is not intended to replace or supplant the theory or educational methods taught in schools, colleges, or universities; rather, we attempt to clarify theory and put it into a useful process and context.
