ABSTRACT
Tools and Techniques focuses on the tools and techniques that are currently available for designing loudspeakers. These have changed significantly over the last 10 or 20 years, and many earlier tools and technologies are now obsolete. Some techniques like the Thiele/Small parameters have morphed into mainstream design and specifications, but not always in the way that was originally intended. This chapter also outlines the key categories of software and hardware that are considered minimal requirements.
