ABSTRACT
Resonance and Damping. Here we describe what resonance is, some of the effects it has on a loudspeaker, and how we can calculate it from a knowledge of mass and compliance. Then we see how damping acts to control or stop this tendency. In this chapter, both are examined in the electrical and acoustical domains.
