ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts covered in the preceding chapters of this book. The book provides an overview of theories and concepts focusing on emerging views on leadership. It describes the organizations in the digital era function as a complex ecosystem where the need for new leadership values and approaches arise. The book argues that every sector of the economy has its decisions to deal with and to adapt to, and it is the leader’s job to articulate a vision for the company and to steer the organization through the needed changes. It argues that changes in tech will not deliver the desired results without including employees. The book raises questions which are concerned with the purpose of diversity in the corporation. It explores the concept of virtual teams is presented as they function in that way, but with some other limitations.
