ABSTRACT
Renewable energy is the only alternative to conventional fuel, which has limited resources and is also responsible for global warming. Here, the state-of-the-art technologies in the renewable energy sector are discussed in this chapter, some of which are in a technologically mature state and some are being tested and used recently. Recent development of storage, solar, wind, water and waste-to-energy technologies are described in which carbon material has a significant role.
