ABSTRACT

Fellowships and similar programs are great ways to learn. They often also mean connections with people who can help one's ideas spread, advanced certification, funnels into new opportunities, and chances for you to contribute to the field in new ways. Teachers can expand their impact by sharing lessons with other teachers. This is common for school teachers but also occurs at the higher education level. Edupreneurship allows one to lend his expertise to the field in the form of needed products or other resources. Companies and educational organizations often have advisory boards through which they garner experts' feedback at regular intervals. Professionals within the education field tend to make superb school board members. Primary and secondary school educators, researchers, professors, and other education experts all have specializations to enhance a board in their area. Nonprofit and institutional efforts in the education space allow students, educators, or edupreneurs to compete for accolades, mentorship, or funds.
