ABSTRACT
The self-aligning troughing roller (SATR) is an essential element of the belt conveyor system. It may fail due to multidimensional forces, derisory lubrication, culpable sealing, uneven loading and improper training of belt. The critical elements that fail periodically in the selfaligning troughing roller are the groove ball bearing and the central shaft.
