ABSTRACT
ABSTRACT: Morphosyntactic lexicons are the vocabulary of a language and they have a vital role in the field of Natural Language Processing (NLP). They provide information about the morphological and syntactic roles of words in a language. There are various methodologies proposed for the generation of highly accurate and large volumes of morphosyntactic lexicons, which are mainly focused on Machine Learning (ML) approaches. The aim of this survey is to explore various methodologies for morphosyntactic lexicon generation and discuss their advantages and disadvantages.
