ABSTRACT
At the beginning of Chapter 11, a statistical survey was set out of the artists listed in four of Ibbs and Tillett's brochures available to promoters during the ten years 1911–20. A decade further on in this history, and it is timely to view a sample of five of the years between 1921 and 1930 (two of these, 1924–25 and 1929–30, are reproduced in full in Appendix 3).
