ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses training of young actors in a digital world. Acting is an art, but it is also a business and actors who do not see this, do so at their own peril. The chapter provides tips for success in the acting business and discusses important issues in regard to public relations. Internet Movie Database is where one can find any working actor and their credits, along with their pictures and clips from films, interviews and so forth. The possible loss of net neutrality and what it means for artists and entertainment is still being debated; however, it will be catastrophic for the online and video streaming entertainment world. Actors all over the US will have to find workarounds for any net neutrality loss and casting directors and agents will have to do the same. Everyone gets tired at times and does some soul searching. Soul searching makes an actor a richer person and a better artist.
