The voice over industry is drastically different from how it was twenty years ago, when one could barely get a foot in the door. With the explosion of audiobook work, and work voicing games and anime and animation, this is now a viable career option if one know what to do and how to do it. Learning how to work with our breath is also an amazing and very needed talent. It brings a reality to our voice work that often gets the job. Now most smart voice actors will try to develop an in home studio. There are numerous videos online on YouTube, which instructs to do this and all of the various equipment options there are for it in a varying price range. Mark in the text the breathing places, different voices, words that are bothersome, pronunciations, changes in book tone, when different accents come in.
