ABSTRACT
The industrial hygiene professional has the skills to enable and facilitate safe work in various environments through the use of science, engineering, and technology. The field of industrial hygiene is considered both a science and an art because not only is it necessary to use knowledge in the area of science, but also it is oftentimes necessary to use professional judgment coupled with past experiences.
