ABSTRACT

The Contractor may have to share the Affected Property with Others as stated in the Scope. The Scope may also require the Contractor to co-ordinate the work with others including holding or attending meetings with them, and notifying the Client before the meetings in case the Client wishes to attend them. The Scope will include a detailed description of the services to be provided, possibly including drawings, specifications and schedules, and any constraints in providing the services, for example working hours, access issues. Collateral warranties may need to be considered within a term service contract to form a relationship between the Client and, maybe, a specialist Subcontractor. The Contractor is required to name each 'key person' within Contract Data Part 2, including their name, job, responsibilities, qualifications and experience. In the absence of any express terms to the contrary, a Contractor will normally be required to design and carry out other services using 'reasonable skill and care'.
