ABSTRACT

Edition of a Latin graffito from the Meroitic temple site of Musawwarat al-Sufra (Lower Nubia), which is the southernmost Latin inscription presently known. This important text was considered lost for more than a century, but turns out to be in the Skulpturensammlung und Museum für Byzantinische Kunst of the Staatliche Museen in Berlin.
