ABSTRACT

The contribution of nanotechnologies to electronics makes possible analysis and interpretation of big data with insights into global health impacts by following trends across populations by region, by disease, by genetic makeup, or by race or gender. Nanomedicines may transform longterm disability or terminal illness into a temporary setback on the road of life. Innovations applying nanotechnology to medical care will also be used to create new baseline testing, thereby expanding the concept of check-ups and testing during necessary health care beyond responding to symptoms that can already be seen. The Nano World Cancer Day's dual focus is to increase public awareness about nanomedicine, while bringing people new hope about fighting cancer. Under the slogan "Nanomedicine: Smart Solutions to Beat Cancer," the Nano World Cancer Day is a collaboration by the European Technology Platform on Nanomedicine and the European Project Enabling NAnomedicine TRANSlation.
