ABSTRACT
In this conclusion, the crime of maldevelopment and some ideas for further research are offered for use in open discussions, normative adjustments and practical transformative needs and actions. In particular, 12 guidelines and five mechanisms for the approach of the crime of maldevelopment are suggested, along with an explanation of the need for a renewed perspective on the function of the punitive system if it aims to be useful in the reduction of maldevelopment and in the construction of economic, social and legal peace.
