ABSTRACT
Photography is extremely important in dermatology as the diagnosis in dermatology is broadly based on visual inspection. Clicking the pictures of the nail is a challenging task because nail has many peculiarities that are not present in the rest of the body. This chapter discusses the problems, the methods, and the materials required for achieving good pictures of nails. The methods for archiving the images are also explained in the chapter. Additionally, the chapter also focuses on techniques for using the smartphone as a camera. This chapter also emphasizes the various poses for photography of nail.
