ABSTRACT
The following table is a guide to the most useful and easily accessible statistics that the economics student requires. The classification is based on the information available in the national income accounts. The first column lists the main economic subjects of interest. The second indicates the relèvent national income statistics. The third column gives the most useful supplementary or short period statistics (mainly from MDS or AAS) ; and the fourth shows for what subjects the Censuses of Population, Production and Distribution are useful.
