ABSTRACT
In this chapter the study data are explored in various ways that begin to make use of their longitudinal characteristics. First, the extent to which some key variables changed over the period of the study is examined, to investigate whether the health status and quality of life indicators show improvement or deterioration over nine months of care home residence. For obvious reasons this analysis is based only on data for those residents who were alive through-out the nine-month study period.
