ABSTRACT

This conclusion presents some closing thoughts on the concepts discussed in the preceding of this book. The book analyzes the international strategies and business aspects of five American professional sports leagues. In sequence, those were Major League Baseball (MLB) and then the National Football League (NFL), National Basketball Association (NBA), National Hockey League (NHL) and Major League Soccer (MLS). The book discusses the international aspects of the Women's National Basketball Association (WNBA), which has been America's premier professional women's basketball league since the late 1990s, were the final contents about the sport. It also analyzes the activities, alliances, events, investments and programs that have projected the NBA to become the world's most dominant international basketball league, and perhaps one of the more profitable sports business and entertainment organizations in the western hemisphere.
