ABSTRACT

In this chapter, the author provides several perspectives on learning that are compatible with the principles of ProjectCraft. The capabilities of individuals to perform in a project environment could be divided into mechanistic skills and expert craft skills. The system accumulation of knowledge will take the student forward through the territory of the project mainstream, to be trained and qualified as a project operative. ProjectCraft capabilities are not susceptible to various approaches because they are embodied in expert action rather than in facts. The people can focus action learning on the big issues of projects through an injection of the ideas of ProjectCraft. The author introduces the concept of the reflective practitioner as a description of how individuals think and act in organizations, reflecting on the situations in which they find themselves, understanding the relevance of the practices they employ, and considering alternative possibilities for action.
