ABSTRACT
Marihuana, hashish, pot, weed, bush, tea, Mary Jane, grass, shit, dope, bhang and ganja are a few of the different names for preparations of the plant, Cannabis sativa I , otherwise called Indian hemp. The drug can be eaten, drunk or, as is more common in Europe and America, smoked. Cannabis is the general term for the different preparations of this herbaceous annual plant, of which there are different varieties, with somewhat different physical, as well as chemical, characteristics. Most botanists agree that these should be regarded as belonging to a single species, though others suggest that there are really three species.
