ABSTRACT

This chapter describes Eindhoven's e-strategies in general. It deals with local content policies, among which municipal electronic service delivery, Internet and broadband content promotion activities. The chapter describes the city's access policy. The chapter pays generous attention to Eindhoven's efforts to make Eindhoven a frontrunner in broadband, by connecting many of its households to fibre-optic networks.
