ABSTRACT
Puppets can be a great way to engage children in play as they are not only fun but give children a feeling of distance from what they might feel comfortable saying and what the puppet is able to say on their behalf. You might find that a child will reveal more when talking 'through a puppet' that when asked directly, It should also be noted that some children use puppets to simply play and use their imagination.
