Endocrine diseases may result in a myriad of skin manifestations. It is prudent to be aware of these cutaneous markers in the emergency settings. The skin lesions might serve as a clue to the underlying disorder and will help in early diagnosis and prompt treatment that can be lifesaving. This chapter focuses on the dermatological manifestations of various endocrine disorders that can present with life-threatening emergencies, namely, Addison disease, Cushing syndrome, thyroid and parathyroid dysfunction, diabetes mellitus, glucagonoma, pheochromocytoma, and carcinoid syndrome. It gives a concise description of the clinical features and management of these conditions.
