ABSTRACT

It is Grade Three and I’ve been sent into a corner classroom to take a test that is going to prove that I am gifted and that I can spend some of my time in an accelerated learning environment. I hated being pulled away from my peers … doing something different than them. I still remember how it felt sitting there with the weight of so many expectations pushing down. The results of the test didn’t demonstrate my abilities. I stayed in my class with my friends.
