ABSTRACT
This chapter discusses the Church of the future in Africa in dialogue with Mugambi’s ecclesiology and his theology of reconstruction. The author argues that a future ecumenical social praxis envisioned by Mugambi demands the construction of intersubjective bonds through the recovery of dialogue. Such a dialogue is enhanced when the Church practices the art of listening to the voices of youths, women, and sexual minorities who are marginalized in the Church today.
