ABSTRACT
Plant breeding is a branch of biology that serves to alter the genotype of plant so that they possess desirable traits. Plant breeding can be defined as a technology of developing superior crop plants or varieties for various purposes, or, as the genetic adjustment of plants to serve mankind.
