ABSTRACT
This chapter, the conclusion to the book, will attempt to provide a clear understanding of the main principles of Iqbal’s view of becoming a genuine Muslim, uncovered with the help of Kierkegaardian hermeneutics. It will also reflect on other questions that will arise in the course of the book, such as whether there was any reason or motivation for Iqbal’s philosophical writings to be expressed as they were, with their terminological inconsistencies and lack of clarity at certain points. Another point which this chapter will focus on is the question of what distinguishes Iqbal from the other Muslim thinkers of his era.
